Carols in the Park and Father Christmas 2015
Despite the wind and rain several hundred people attended this event on 6 December 2015 and we thank you all for your support. Festivities began at 4pm when our younger visitors met Father Christmas in his grotto and enjoyed music and other amusements. At 6pm a large crowd gathered round the bandstand to sing traditional Christmas Carols and songs, accompanied by the Worthing Silver Band and Glenwood Ladies Choir. Visitors also enjoyed other magical Christmas entertainment that the Trust had lined up for their enjoyment at this traditional annual event. Mulled wine, mince pies and a lucky number song sheet featured where, for a minimum donation of just £1, you could have one free drink from the Hotham Park Heritage Trust stall and enter your lucky telephone number into a champagne prize draw. All proceeds will go towards the future development of Hotham Park.
